Meet the family behind Corolla Pool & Spa, and the simple idea that owning a pool or spa at the beach should feel relaxing, not stressful.
Our story
Rooted on the Outer Banks.
Owner Josh Foster grew up spending summers on the Outer Banks. In high school he cleaned vacation rentals for local rental companies, and while studying at Virginia Tech he spent his summers servicing pools.
After college he moved into a Southern Shores house that has been in his family since the early 1970s, took a summer to decide what came next, and found he loved the busy summers and slow winters of pool work. Since 2010 he has built pools from the ground up, made countless repairs and completed more weekly services than he can count.
Josh and his wife Katie met at about age five, when their grandparents owned beach houses across the street from each other. Both houses are still in the families, and their three children were all born at the Outer Banks Hospital.
